BARRIER TAKEDOWN



Very soon I’m going to have the tendons elongation surgery that I should have done years ago, if my wife at the time would have listened to my confidence that I can overcome my injury and therefore be the husband and father that God put me on Earth for.
I’ve been considering the spasticity a real physical barrier that doesn’t let me walk and move the affected limbs, so by removing this barrier I’m sure that my life will return to be acceptable and productive again, as it should be.
Of course I’m going to deal with the many changes in my family and I intend to return to be the caring and present father to my children, who are victims of my injury for the changes that they had to face.
2012 is going to be my “born again” year and many concepts that I developed after the injury will change, such as the atheism that I had developed in the attempt to find a reason for having lost all I ever did in my former successful life.
I’m now reading the Proverbs in the Bible to understand what people 3,000 years ago already knew and I plan my next 40 years of life in the success that I never lost.
